Do you love garlic as much as I do? Is there really anything better than a good garlic sauce? But, as you get into raw food more and away from the fattening cream sauces, not to mention white flour and butter, this is a good alternative! It’s quick, easy, and is oh so garlicky!!
1C soaked cashews – at least 8 hours, you want them to be good and soft
¾ - 1 C water, purified or filtered
4 cloves garlic
Drain and rinse the cashews, add them to your blender, add ¾ cup water, the garlic and blend. You may have to add more water to get a really smooth consistency. And voila! Creamy raw garlic sauce!
Use this on pizza, potatoes; whatever you would normally use a garlic sauce for. Or, add your favorite herbs to create a yummy dip for your raw crackers, celery or carrot sticks.This is just a quick, easy and tasty way to dip your toes into raw food.
